A Special Delivery

Author: I woke up this morning and had breakfast then went out to get the mail. I realized that there was a special delivery on my door when I saw a big box from InvitationBox.com. invitations from this particular company are always a welcome sight around my house, so as soon as I brought the package in I tore it open. I called my wife from downstairs and she came rushing into the kitchen. Both of us really like getting these kinds of deliveries and we both act like children on Christmas morning when they arrive. As soon as we got it open we saw the baby announcementsthat we had been waiting for. They were so cute and adorable we decided to frame one and put it up on the wall.It’d been a while since we received a special delivery like this. After lunch we started talking about all of the things that we had done the past year. We reminisced for a little bit and then remembered that our niece’s sweet sixteen invitations hadn’t arrived yet. I called up my sister and asked what happened, and she said that they really couldn’t afford to throw a party this year. I told her that that was totally unacceptable and that I would foot the bill. My niece was so happy that she called me right back to express her gratitude.
